I've been wearing these sandals I got from @thegroundedathlete for a few weeks now, and I'm immensely impressed. Despite having trained barefoot for martial arts and wearing minimalist shoes for the past 15 years I have still noticed a significant increase in the natural toe spread that is so rare in industrialized populations. My feet feel quite a lot better.

Initially it took some getting used to since I haven't worn sandals since I was a kid, but now it feels very natural to walk around in them. After going for a stroll in natural terrain the soles of my feet have a pleasant buzzing sensation in them and feel relaxed yet powerful. Unlike anything I have experienced with minimalist shoes.

If you have lower back, knee, or hip problems it's likely that your feet are involved. We have an unfortunate habit of mangling people's feet in our culture with poorly designed footwear. I highly recommend these as an alternative!

The leather footbed is amazing, with a protective durable outer sole. These sandals engage the intrinsic smaller muscles within the foot to train them to be stronger, naturally allowing the toes to sit more straight. The connection with the earth is through a hand sewn copper/silver plate on the outer sole, that is incorporated up into and throughout leather footbed.
